"Mphoentle Katlo Soke is a renewable energy entrepreneur and researcher focused on the intersection of energy access, gender, and rural economic development in Africa. She is the Founder of Maungo a Letsatsi, a Botswana-based social enterprise advancing women-centred and youth-led renewable energy solutions for off-grid communities. Her work combines field research, enterprise development, and community engagement to explore how distributed renewable energy can drive inclusive economic participation. Before founding Maungo a Letsatsi, she spent more than seven years in security and operational management across Botswana and Zambia's mining sector, including with Debswana, Lucara, and Kagem Mining. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Botswana and is completing a Master's degree in Project Management through Unicaf University. "
